I forgot to update the version numbers in the actual game but this is the official v0.8 release, I've updated a lot of things.

First thing I did was update the player physics, I fixed and tweaked many things. 

I re-worked and organized many things including the character information handling and UI Information.

I re-added the velocity back to the UI due to a request, I positioned it right below the timer in the UI.

Added a chat box, chat is non-existent at the moment however the box is there.
